Information for Your Wedding Day!

Remember to bring all of the following items with you:

• Your marriage license (both copies)

• Government-Issued Photo ID (for couple getting married and both witnesses)

• $50 Cash (to pay fee in Room 2500 + bring receipt to Courtroom 901)

• Masks for everyone in attendance

Who: There can be a maximum of 10 people present for your ceremony -- including the wedding couple, 2 adult witnesses and children.

Where: The Justice Center is located at 300 S Salisbury Street in downtown Raleigh. Once you arrive, go to Room 2500 (Cashier, 2nd floor) to pay your $50 (cash only) fee -- keep your receipt and bring it to the 9th floor. Wait by the windows outside of Courtroom 901 and the judge will come get you at your appointment time.

When: Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment time so that you can park, get through security and, pay your $50 fee prior to your appointment. If you arrive late, we cannot guarantee that your wedding will be performed that day.
